W – SYNONYM FOR MODERN ELEGANCE

It was at the W St.Petersburg hotel construction site that Desino current team got together and acquired an invaluable experience of working with an outstanding architect such as Antonio Citterio.

In more ways than one W proved to be a revolutionary project: the chain first hotel in Eastern Europe, the first and the only Alain Ducasse’s restaurant in Russia, the first hotel in the northern capital meant for the city inhabitants to the same extent as for the hotel guests.

A stereotype of regularity and boredom of five star hotels was powerfully hit as W St.Petersburg turned to become synonymous for modern elegance.

The project safety margin was extremely strong – even now, with new powerful players flooding the St.Petersburg’s hotel market, W is still in the definite lead.

YOTA CREATIVE OFFICE SPACE

In cooperation with Woods Bagot’s London office several hundred workplaces were created within six months for Yota’s St.Petersburg branch on eight floors of Atlantic City business center on Savushkina street.

The project proved to be a testing ground for implementing and examining a number of innovations and developments aimed at creating comfortable office environment for a young but demanding team.

The cell structure of work places to balance individual and team activities proved to be one of the most successful solutions for Yota.

TOWN INSIDE TOWN WITH STUNNING MODEREN ARCHITECTURE

Unfortunately, the unique Yota house project was not implemented into life due to the client’s strategic changes. The young and dynamic company headquarters design evolved from our cooperation with Australian and London bureaus of Woods Bagot international architect company.

Architectural solutions were preceded by thorough analysis of the corporate operations, interdepartmental interactions, document turnover and development plans.

300 000 square meter multi-functional complex included Yota headquarters, a hotel, trade and sports centers, a congress-center and residential quarters for employees moving to St.Petersburg from the distant parts of the country.

Special space for recreation and communication at the Yota’s top floor office in Atlantic City. The interior was designed by Archi-Do St. Petersburg.

PRIVATE CLIENT RESIDENCE

The project embraces three separate buildings and an underground garage being built at a wonderful pine tree zone of over six hectares.

The project participants: interior design - Axel Vervoordt studio (Belgium), architect Tatsuro Miki (Japan), landscape designer Erik Dhont (Belgium), kitchen consultant Paul Valet (France) and other professional engineers and consultants.

PRIVATE CLIENT RESIDENCE

The premises of two thousand and a half square meters are located at the Bay of Finland country zone of one and a half hectare.

The interior design was made by Christian Liagre Paris bureau, which creates totally original projects all over the world. The designer even manufactures furniture for his client.

He recently completed a design for Roman Abramovich’s house at St. Barths. The maestro is adored by fans of modern classics (simple lines and shapes complemented by luxurious materials) and owners of spacious mansions and residences.

The premises of one thousand and a half square meters and one hectare of land.

Architectural and interior design was made by Cutler Anderson Architects. James Cutler and Bruce Anderson have recently completed a house for Bill Gates. They are well-recognized woodhouse specialists in modern upscale architecture.

They make a perfect match between a house they build and the environment, whether it is forest, field, apartment block or seaside. Their interiors are usually of contrasting nature: bright wooden beams are opposed by massive walls.

Light and durable wooden structures add air and space, and thick walls make the building look like a fortress.

APARTMENTS HOUSE BY THE SEA

Creating space for life in apartments of Sergei Tchoban’s “House by the Sea”, one of the best residential complex in St.Petersburg.

The interior has been designed by Eric Kuster from Netherlands, a unique craftsman of finding golden median between innovations and classics. His interiors always fill you with heat and comfort.

It may be the reason why Kylie Minogue entrusted her house with the Flying Dutchman: the star of big stadiums requires quiet comfort at home.

The designer is notable for thorough development of details, Kuster hates to take chances.

APARTMENTS KAMENNOOSTROVSKY COLLECTION

The apartments interior was designed by Milano-based architect company Kqarch, set by talented pupils of Antonio Citterio.

Young architects are eager to reach maximum simplicity and functionality. But the simplicity reveals elegance of their style.

DUPLEX APARTMENT IN ST.PETERSBURG

Kqarch Milano architects managed to find room for full-scale country house functional in a duplex apartment in the city.

High ceilings, a fireplace and elegant decorations make the apartment an ideal place for the city life.
